During the Night of Museums, join a special Turkish motif painting workshop led by Derya Ocak.

We invite you to a unique creative experience where you can get acquainted with one of the most iconic symbols of Turkish decorative arts: the Ottoman tulip.

In Ottoman art, the tulip symbolized beauty, renewal, abundance, and elegance. During the workshop, you will not only discover the history and meaning of this motif but also create your own artwork.

Derya Ocak has been involved in traditional Turkish arts for many years. Her studies have included tezhip (Ottoman manuscript illumination), Islamic geometry, Turkish tile painting, and miniature painting under the guidance of renowned Turkish and international masters. Since 2021, she has regularly led creative workshops that combine traditional motifs with the joy of personal artistic expression.
