For centuries, the rose has been one of the world’s most beloved and extraordinary flowers. Its beauty, fragrance, healing properties, and symbolic meaning have played an important role in many cultures. Join us as we discover the secrets, traditions, and many uses of the rose.

The Secrets of the Rose – Interactive presentation
with Betty Kaály (Rózsavilág)

Discover the history, traditions and unique role of the rose in everyday life. Participants can taste rose syrup, experience wonderful rose fragrances, and choose their own Rose Angel.

12:30 PM – 1:00 PM

In Tune with Roses

Rose songs performed by folk singer Enikő Szabó and musician László Waszlavik. Enjoy beautiful Hungarian and Turkish melodies inspired by the rose, with an opportunity to sing together.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Plant a Rose!

Presentation and discussion on planting and caring for roses in the rose garden.
